El, hacked your CVS part to remove that "cvs/..." thing. No need for a whole script to do a simple checkout (and the "-d" parameter seems to be not very well known). Oh, and you wouldn't need CVS_RSH=ssh for anon checkout: pserver is its own protocol (and ssh is the default for CVS_RSH anyway, I think).

Some information on this page is repeated all over the page. It should be split into Installing from autopackage, installing from (CVS) source and post-install setup.
